We got the opportunity through General Public Collective for our first solo art show. We developed several large scale pieces explicitly for the gallery. We chose to portray images from our daily lives which allowed us to engage in the moments and even seconds of the day that are easily forgotten or looked over. We spent time developing the images and then transferring them to their final scale on wood. We also developed a poster for the show and designed the window graphics. Months later we were contacted by the Harrison Center for the Arts. They allowed us the opportunity to show this work along with 30+ water color and ink paintings done by Rebekah. The shows were very different experiences but both were great. We’re glad to have worked with two great galleries in Indianapolis.
